What is Voxland?
Voxland is a free MMORPG you play in your web browser, inspired by Ragnarok Online and set in a Greek-myth world of floating voxel isles. Heroes start as Novices in Ithaca, choose from 19 classes, hunt 159 monsters across 5 cities and 32 hunting grounds, and build in the world itself. Its alpha is open at play.voxland.lol.The story →
Is Voxland free?

Do I need an account?

Yes, it's inspired by Ragnarok Online. Heroes and classes

What classes are there in Voxland?
Every hero starts as a Novice, then joins one of 6 first classes (Swordsman, Mage, Archer, Acolyte, Thief, and Merchant), and later one of their second classes: 19 classes in all. Swordsman leads to Hoplite or Aegis Guardian; Mage leads to Thaumaturge or Philosopher; Archer leads to Huntsman or Lyrist; Acolyte leads to Hierophant or Pankratiast; Thief leads to Shade or Brigand; Merchant leads to Forgemaster or Alchemist.Classes →
How do I change class?
Talk to the keeper of the orders in any city. A Novice can join a first class at Job Lv. 10, and a first class can move on to a second class at Job Lv. 40.The job tree →
What is rebirth?
Like Ragnarok's transcendence: a second class at base Lv. 99 and job Lv. 50 can drink from Mnemosyne's spring in Delphi and start again as a High Novice, with 100 status points instead of 48, 25% more HP and SP for good, and job levels up to 70 in its second class.Rebirth →
Can I have a pet in Voxland?
Yes. 13 monsters can be tamed with their own lure, sold by Orpheus in Ithaca. A tamed pet follows you, gets hungry, grows fond when fed, and lends a small bonus once it's cordial.Pets and mounts →
Are there mounts?
Yes. Hoplites and Aegis Guardians can take a war horse from Bellerophon in Corinth for 2,500 zeny. Riding, they move 25% faster and carry 1,000 more.War horses →

Combat and gear

How do cards work?
Every monster has a card it drops rarely (about 1 in 500 for ordinary monsters, 1 in 10 for bosses). Set a card into a free slot in your gear and its effect is yours for good.Every item and card →
How does refining work?
Refiners in every city raise gear from +0 to +10 with ore and a fee. Up to the item's safe limit every step holds; past it, a failed step shatters the item, cards and all.Refining →
What are elements and sizes?
As in Ragnarok Online, every monster has an element and is small, medium or large. A weapon or spell's element against the monster's decides how hard it lands, and each kind of weapon hits each size harder or softer.Sizes and elements →
What status ailments are there?
There are 9: stun, freeze, sleep, root, stone, poison, silence, blind, and curse. Monsters inflict them by their element, your stats resist them, and herbs, a Panacea, cure skills and city healers cure them.Ailments →

The world

How big is the world?
5 cities (Ithaca, Corinth, Delphi, Athens, and Sparta) and 32 hunting grounds, from meadows for new heroes to the summit of Olympus, with 147 monsters and 12 bosses. Beyond them stand the Stadium of Olympia and 2 castles. The world map →
Are there quests?
Yes: 76 quests posted by a herald in each of the 5 cities. Hunts and boss bounties can be taken again after a while; gatherings once. You carry up to 10 at a time.Every quest →
Can I build in Voxland?
Yes, out in the hunting grounds: mine blocks, craft them and build. A claim stone keeps a plot for you and your guild. The cities stay as they are, so nobody digs under the market.Hunting grounds →
